El Congreso Internacional de Ingenier\u00eda (CONIIN) se ha consolidado como un espacio de encuentro para el intercambio de ideas, la divulgaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica y la innovaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica. En el marco del CONIIN 2026, se convoca al Concurso de Arco Catenaria, una actividad acad\u00e9mica y experimental que invita a las y los estudiantes a explorar la relaci\u00f3n entre geometr\u00eda, f\u00edsica, ingenier\u00eda, arquitectura y creatividad.

La catenaria es la curva natural que describe un elemento flexible sometido a su propio peso. Al invertirse, esta curva se transforma en la geometr\u00eda \u00f3ptima para un arco que trabaja \u00fanicamente a compresi\u00f3n, principio estudiado por Robert Hooke y magistralmente aplicado por Antoni Gaud\u00ed. Este concurso busca poner en pr\u00e1ctica estos fundamentos mediante la construcci\u00f3n de un arco autoportante, destacando la eficiencia estructural, el uso consciente de materiales y la innovaci\u00f3n formal.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
